In early September, en route from our London house to our house in the Ariege by bike (1,220 kms), we stayed overnight at the delightful Aux Cornes. Not so easy to find on a bike without satnav, but Pascal actually drove out to find us and guide us back to the domaine, where we had a delightful room with a bath and shower, both much appreciated, as was the swim in the impeccably clean and heated pool. Delicious dinner and breakfast, and, kindest of all, very thoughtfully Pascal offered that our clothes be washed!! (No doubt the neighbours we most unexpectedly met the next day at the lovely Marais Potevin were glad we took advantage of his generosity….)
